Check out the latest top ten fiction and nonfiction titles from the 7 October 2018 New York Times bestseller list. New to the fiction list this week is Khaled Hosseini's Sea Prayer, an illustrated short novel in the form of a letter from a Syrian father to his young son written on the eve of their planned escape from their war-torn country by boat.

Hosseini will donate proceeds from sale of the book to the UNHCR (the UN's refugee agency) and the Khaled Hosseini Foundation, in order to fund efforts to aid refugees worldwide. His previous books include the bestselling novels A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Kite Runner.
